Hullabaloo

Hullabaloo is BC’s Youth Spoken Word Festival featuring workshops, showcase performances and some of BC’s finest high school aged poets all sharing work for peers and audiences alike. The 2021 Festival runs April 22-24th online via Zoom.  Registration is open for all schools to take part in Hullabaloo 2021.  Participating poets will be asked to take part in poetry workshops of their choice as well as create work to be presented for online audiences. Hullabaloo Spoken Word Jamboree and Alumni Showcase

This event is originating from the Unceded Ancestral Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.   For the 2021 edition of Hullabaloo we keep some of the past and forge ahead with something new. Hullabaloo All Star Slam 2021 and Individual Videopoem Festival
